
Ladies pointework should include releves, echappes, and pirouettes. Gentleman need to show batterie and tours. Centerwork should include an adagio, pirouettes, petit and grand allegro. Please include a short barre’ showing plies, tendus, and fondu. VIDEO AUDITION GUIDELINESĪpplicants should begin their video with a short introduction including their name, age, birthdate, and current training facility. *Please note: auditions are not required for the children’s summer program (ages 2-7) or the adult program. Select students from the Summer Intensive may be invited to attend School of Philadelphia Ballet’s full-year Professional Program.

Current students enrolling for the full 5 week program will be guaranteed a spot if registered by January 8, 2020. Students registering after January 8th will be enrolled on a first come first served basis.Īcceptance to the summer intensive is competitive, and only the most proficient students are invited to participate. Notification of level placement will be given out during the week of December 8th. Please be sure to register and submit your deposit on time in order to ensure your spot in the program.Ĭurrent students of School of Philadelphia Ballet are not required to audition. When full capacity is reached, the remaining students will be placed on a wait list. Students attending the full 5 weeks have registration priority. Once accepted into the Summer Intensive, all students must register within two weeks of their notification date. Applicants will receive result notification via email within one week of their audition. All students ages 8-21 that are unable to attend an audition on our tour may submit a video audition. Students ages 8-11 may only attend the Philadelphia auditions at SPB. Students 12 years of age and older are encouraged to attend any audition on our Summer Intensive nation tour. Auditions are open to all male and female students ages 8-21.
